This is my sister Angel and her baby pig— I mean chihuahua, Kaos. She’s leaving to Hong Kong for the next 2.5 weeks and I am living at her place in Dublin for a week to take care of her little babies until I, too, depart to the other side of the globe.

Strawberry cupcake making after Chernobyl Diaries (horrible, yet entertaining film) with Scott. I can’t say no to sci-fi horror, even if I do cover my ears and close my eyes the whole time.

Went to the oyster farm in Point Reyes with the banking gang and friends. Gluttony at it’s finest.

Opened up my work drawer in the morning to find this pleasant surprise from my co-worker Dona. This is why I love them.

VIP access to Scott’s bike shop! Watching him build bikes after closing time is surprisingly relaxing. He broke his personal record by working 14 hours straight. That’s what you call passionate lol.

Went to see Midi Matilda, Terraplane Sun and Barcelona with Kristiface. It was quite amazing. They are all so talented and down to earth. Getting to know Terraplane Sun one-on-one was really fun and unreal. They’re a bunch of great guys.
Every time after an awesome show, for the next couple days, I feel like my life changes a little bit. Unforgettable.

If I don’t make it as a nurse, I’ll just bake cupcakes all day long.
Vanilla cupcakes filled with chocolate ganache, topped with buttercream frosting and fondant for Maddie.

It’s never a good thing being woken up by a phone call from your boss asking if you’re coming into work, half an hour after you’re supposed to arrive. I rush through my usual morning ritual and speed my way to work. As I’m exiting my car, I frantically reach into my cup holder to retrieve my name badge and struggle. I struggle because my name badge is buried in a pile of glass from when a jar broke in my car (another story), which I didn’t realize until after I felt multiple stabbing pains on my index finger from the shard of glass slicing my finger open. Blood is trickling down my palm onto my wrist and arm. It doesn’t stop for a long time.
I didn’t even get to drink coffee today.
Damn you, iPhone alarm.
